Trophy Trucks

Here are some assorted pics of the Trophy Truck class in the cabo 250. I am not 100% sure if they are all really TT’s but they look close enough for me. If anyone knows the names of the drivers I would love to hear comment so I can update this post. The trucks are killer and they just sound mean. Was pretty amazing seeing these things take off

Racing Trucks

Here are some trucks racing at the start of the 2008 Cabo 250 desert race. It is held in Cabo San Lucas in the summer. I really like that older ford 250 . Looks mean and like it would be a ton of fun to beat around out there on the trails. Check out the air some of these trucks were gettting on the first jump

Quad Finishing

This is the first Quad I saw finishing up the Baja 250. I am not 100% sure he was the winner but he did cross the line first. Was a hot day too he must have been sweating in all that gear. Well done to him

1600 cc Baja Bugs

Stock class 1600 cc Baja Bugs here hitting the first road crossing in the cabo 250. These things were catching a little air as they bounced over the road. This was right before they headed out of Cabo San Lucas into the desert to complete the 250 mile race. Awesome stuff

Here are some Baja Bugs which I believe were running in the Unlimited Baja Bugs class. Nice looking race cars that really handled the rough jumps well off the line.

Here are some of the many Baja Bugs that raced in the Cabo 250 race last weekend. I loved seeing and hearing these things taking off from the line. Honestly its alot more impressive to me to see some guy take out a bug he worked on himself with his buddies rather than some fancy new custom buggy and a race crew. Each to their own but you got to respect the guys in these things.
